The New Life on the Old West project aims to connect communities around the Cambridgeshire Fens Old West River with their local natural heritage, and increase resilience of the landscape through small-scale interventions on community green spaces, arable farmland and within the ditch network. Cambridgeshire ACRE has received £99,000 funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund for the New Life on the Old West project, allowing us to develop this project throughout 2018, working towards a full grant application of £729,900 to deliver the project from 2019 until 2022.
