The Grasslands and Meadowlands Restoration Ecologist will work with CWF’s Terrestrial Conservation team to initiate projects and provide habitat restoration expertise for a variety of conservation goals in central and western Canada. The primary focus of the position will be implementation of habitat restoration projects as part of an exciting three-year project to restore pollinator habitat on Rights-ofWay (ROW) in eastern Ontario. This will include building strong partnerships with ROW managers to collaboratively plan, undertake and evaluate restoration outcomes. The secondary focus will be to actively pursue new projects and collaboration for habitat restoration for pollinators, birds and species at risk in Prairie Canada, Ontario, and Quebec.
