CWC is seeking an energetic, outgoing full-time Conservationist to undertake 1) various land conservation activities, 2) conservation lands management and 3) activities for CWC to achieve national accreditation with the Land Trust Alliance. Duties of the Conservation Lands Manager will include: Engaging with landowners and governments to implement actions to conserve watershed lands for water quality protection and for fish and wildlife habitat enhancement, Negotiating and delivering real estate conservation transactions, Performing biological surveys, Drafting and implementing management plans, Managing volunteers engaged in maintaining, improving and monitoring CWC conservation lands, and Coordinating activities for implementing LTA standards and practices for accreditation.
