Summary of Duties Reports to and carries out work under the direction of a designated Manager.  Prepares, processes, reviews and analyzes environmental policies and objectives; recommends policies and objectives for the City's open space system; develops environmental planning strategies, policies and Master Plans for the City's Natural Heritage System; coordinates, monitors and provides comment on environmental impact studies submitted to the City; provides technical input for various planning applications and documents and for environmental assessments carried out by proponents and the City. Work Performed Provides input regarding environmental impact studies (EIS),environmental and ecological planning through the planning application and subdivision approval processes
