Immediately adjacent to the vibrant city of Chicago and housed within a modernized urban AZA accredited zoo with extensive community history, this ~650 animal, ~175 species population has hoofed animals, megavertebrates, marine mammals, carnivores, non-human primates, birds, reptiles, and limited fish and invertebrates. The Clinical Veterinarian is a member of a strong preventive medicine program supervised and managed by the Dr. Lester E.
