Coastal Action is seeking an experienced student or recent graduate to fill our Species at Risk
Senior Field Technician role. Coastal Action is a charitable organization that addresses
environmental concerns throughout the South Shore region of Nova Scotia and was established
in December 1993. Reporting to the Species at Risk & Biodiversity Team Lead, the Senior Field
Technician will assist with various tasks relating to Coastal Action’s American Eel Project, along
with a new Snapping Turtle project.
Your Opportunity:
• Conduct hands-on field work with a wide variety of projects including; the American Eel
project, the Atlantic Whitefish project, invasive species work, and the proposed
Snapping Turtle project;
• Help to deliver public and school presentations and comm
