Scope and Purpose of Work: The Restoration Technician will participate in implementing a variety of habitat restoration projects across aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems in Northeast Michigan, with a focus on the 6 coastal Lake Huron counties of our 12-county service area. Working as part of the overarching Stewardship Team, this dynamic position will include controlling invasive plant species, completing large scale vegetation inventories in a variety of ecotypes, and restoring sensitive coastal habitats. This position will also include planting native species, collecting stream/river data, trail maintenance and participating in providing outreach/education to the general public.
