Reporting to the Conservation Director, the Pueblo-based Community Conservation Manager (CCM) will advance agricultural and community-building conservation projects that are of local, state, and national importance. The ideal candidate will bring deep conservation experience and expertise to the Palmer’s agricultural land conservation projects in Pueblo County, as well as throughout the Colorado’s Lower Arkansas Valley. The position builds on Palmer’s multi-year efforts around conserving a critical mass of irrigated farmland in specific farming communities in the Lower Arkansas Valley, which include Pueblo, St. Charles Mesa, Vineland, and Avondale.
