Position Summary: The CNC Residential Outdoor Education Program provides a safe, challenging, fun, and dynamic experience for students in grades 5-7. The goal of the program is to create a deep nature connection between students and their “Big Backyard” of local parks. Outdoor Educators will use established curriculum, based on Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and the California State Science Standards, to personalize their classes for lesson groups of 15-20 students. Instructors will typically teach 2-3 lessons each day (morning lesson, afternoon lesson, and night program). The average day runs from 8:00am until 10:00pm.
