The purpose of the position is to help create fire adapted communities and resilient landscapes. The Community Wildfire Resilience Specialist will be responsible for supporting direction, development, implementation, and monitoring of the following Division program areas: wildfire risk reduction, community protection planning, forest stewardship interagency collaboration, and community education. This position manages the CWDG program, which was established in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and is delivered in partnership with the US Forest Service, State & Private Forestry under the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act PL 117-58-Section 40803.
