Reporting to the Xerces Society Senior Pollinator Conservation Specialist (East Region), and in collaboration with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and our partners with the American Farmland Trust (AFT), the Connecticut River Valley Pollinator Conservation Planner will provide technical support, conservation planning assistance, and training to farmers and pasture managers, other agricultural producers, NRCS field office planners, and other regional conservation partners in the Connecticut River Valley watershed of New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have experience with USDA Farm Bill conservation programs, will have strong teaching and outreach experience, and will be able to develop farm-specific conservation planning
