Program Basics
This position will be assisting the regional office and parks with developing media for the public. In the regional office they will primarily work for the Office of Interpretation and Education, but will assist with cooperative projects that involve both cultural and national resource in National Parks in the region. Their design skills will be used for products that interpret resources to the general public and to school-age children, such as exhibiting panel designs, Junior Ranger materials, and brochures.
The media work that the Steward produces will assist parks in telling their stories to the public, provide parks with the ability to have their audiovisual products become accessible, brochures that provide safety and orientation information, and develop
