Here’s a great New Year opportunity for you – would you like to work at Cornwall Wildlife Trust (CWT) as part of the amazing Conservation Team?!

CWT are excited to be offering a Conservation Placement role for 12 months – 25 hours a week – supported by the Governments Kickstart Scheme.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work for CWT and help support all their amazing conservation work across Cornwall.

Anyone living in the UK can apply between the age of 16 and 24 if you qualify to claim Universal Credit. You don’t need to be on the Universal Credit scheme before you apply – you can do this at the same time.

The Conservation Placement will work within the Conservation Section of CWT to support their fantastic projects, with a particular focus on the Operation Hedgehog project – helping protect this amazing species!

You will be doing so many exciting things for wildlife, including surveys, event organising and supporting with the management of our volunteers. This really is a great way to start your career in conservation and build your experience and key skills to help make Cornwall a wilder place in the future.

Registration onto the Universal Credit system is required but you can do this at the same time as registering for this role at the Job Centre.
