This unclassified, full-time position will be located at Prairie Center and is directly supervised by Jeffrey Bender, Parks Division Regional Supervisor. The incumbent plans, organizes, and directs activities and operation at a complex state Department-managed property consisting of 300 acres of natural park land and trails. This individual will be responsible for oversight, operation, and development of KDHE permitting, application of controlled chemicals, minerals management, wastewater treatment, potable water supply, watershed and wind management, and visual and air quality; identifies and analyzes environmental effects to plant, animal or aquatic life and the conservation management relating to the biological sciences on the department managed lands; administers all natural resourc
