The Purpose: The Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is 190 square kilometres (75 square miles) and has a population of 27,000. The AONB contains part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site, which borders Dartmoor National Park and is recognised internationally as an IUCN Category V protected landscape. Within this the postholder will support the Tamara Development Manager with the development of the Stage 2 NLHF (National Lottery Heritage Fund) Landscape Partnership bid, partnership development and securing project funding.
