Cornwall Council has an exciting role available for an experienced Countryside Officer to provide advice to the environment and planning services as a 22 month secondment position. With responsibilities extending over Cornwall Council’s broad Countryside asset base including, Public Rights of Way, Trails, Country Parks, Beach & Coastal areas, Heritage Site, South West Coast Path, Geohazards and Planning Advice matters relating to the Countryside. For advising on and applying technical and regulatory requirements and embracing the latest best practice techniques ensuring value for money and consistency in service provision across Cornwall.
