We are seeking a full-time, desk based Scientific Officer to assist Cornwall Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority (IFCA) with the management of inshore fisheries around the coast of Cornwall and to assist the Authority to meet some of its statutory obligations. The role holder will join a small team and will be required to analyse fisheries and marine environmental data to inform and support the decisions of the Authority. Additionally, the role holder will be required to assist in preparing reports and responses to various consultations. You will have a BSc (Hons) in a marine science discipline and you must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of relevant biological/ecological assessment techniques. You will need excellent communication skills – written and oral. Y
