Working within Community and Leisure team you will help guide the day to day management of our nature reserves and green spaces throughout the borough. The position calls for a knowledge and understanding of ecological issues, legislation and policies as well as the ability to write, implement and then monitor the effects of site management plans.  You will be confident dealing with contractors and happy to manage our livestock which graze some of our sites. Your ecological knowledge will be matched with your enthusiasm and commitment to lead practical volunteer work parties with the community and inspire schools, universities and the local community to the importance of nature conservation.
