Times by mutual agreement. £11.00 per hour – Permanent A vacancy has arisen for a Countryside Ranger for two green space sites in the St Albans district – Bricket Wood Common and Nomansland Common. Bricket Wood Common is a SSSI site which features rare Heathland and Ancient Woodland habitat and hosts protected species such as the Great Created Newt. Nomansland Common is located between Wheathampstead and Sandridge and features a variety of habitats including Heathland. The grounds maintenance of both sites are delivered by John O’Conner [GM] Ltd on behalf of St Albans City & District Council. Requirements of the role include:
