The position CSIRO Agriculture and Food is currently seeking enthusiastic casual staff to join the Cotton Breeding Group for the coming cotton harvest. You will be part of a team that develops new cotton varieties for the Australian cotton industry. As a research assistant you will assist with general field and greenhouse operations and maintenance, laboratory processing, sampling experiments, processing samples and harvesting cotton experiments at Myall Vale, NSW and Dalby, QLD. Specifically you will: Assist with planting, weeding and maintenance of field and greenhouse experiments.
