The Curator of Fish and Invertebrates is responsible for the day to day departmental operations of the fish and invertebrate team while advancing and implementing aquarium standards and policies to ensure compliance with all requirements of various professional associations and regulatory agencies.  This is a working curatorial position.   Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage all fish and invertebrate staff, interns, and volunteers
  • Oversee all fish and invertebrate exhibits, inhabitants, and systems
  • Ensure effective communication amongst F&I staff
  • Ensure effective communication between with Registrar and Animal Resource Manger on all specimen health related and record keeping issues
