The Curator for Natural Science at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is responsible for participating in the development, management, research, accession, utilization and presentation of the museum’s science collection (geology, zoology and botany). The incumbent, in concert with colleagues, curates designated specimens, as well as oversees the utilization, rotation and care of the science collection pieces incorporated into the museum exhibitions, programs and experiences.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Works to maximize the use and visibility of the collection. Works closely with staff colleagues across the museum to plan, prepare and install science collection object-based exhibits. Coordinates displays and exhibits. Works with staff members
