The Newt Conservation Partnership Data and Monitoring Officer £25-£30k per annum

Permanent contract • home working / office-based in Oxford

Due to ongoing successful expansion we are looking for an experienced Data and Monitoring Officer who can coordinate NCP’s extensive and fast-growing compensation site monitoring programme and reporting.

The Newt Conservation Partnership is a community benefit society whose sole purpose is to create and manage high quality habitat for great crested newts. We source good quality habitat sites and work together with landowners so that ponds and terrestrial features, such as hedgerows, woodland and meadowland, can be securely managed into the future to provide long-term landscape scale refuges for sustainable newt populations.

Freshwater Habitats Trust is a friendly, nationally well-respected conservation charity that works to protect freshwater wildlife through practical, evidence-based and effective nature conservation projects. This job is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of botanists, invertebrate biologists, herpetologists and freshwater conservation experts who are making a difference.
