This role is for a fixed term of 2 years. The work will occur in a range of habitats with high ecological value from the Hokianga through to the north head of the Kaipara Harbour, and will also include highly ranked shrubland and wetland habitats. Tasks will include leading and contributing to the delivery of biodiversity protection and monitoring work, with an emphasis on animal pest control. The responsibilities will involve: Managing animal pest control programmes throughout the district, using a variety of methods. This will involve managing safely both staff and contractors to deliver effective animal pest control in highly valued ecological areas.
