He angitūtanga: About the Role The Takaka District is seeking an experienced Ranger for our Biodiversity Team. The role is focused on threatened species and ecosystem restoration work within the District which is characterised by its diverse landscapes and natural communities. Within the District there are a wide range of biological communities and these harbour populations of at least 85 nationally threatened species. The Takaka District is also habitat for 69 endemic species, some of them belonging to the group of nationally threatened species.
