This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, with native wildlife, in a unique and isolated environment. Your role will contribute to the conservation of the Nationally Critical NZ Fairy Tern (Sternula nereis davisae), where you will work as part of a small team focussed on protecting nesting NZ Fairy Terns during the breeding season. Tasks will include: locating, monitoring and protection NZ Fairy Tern nests, predator control, advocacy, compliance, data entry and reporting.
