About Sustainable Resilient Longmont Sustainable Resilient Longmont (SRL) is a nonprofit in Longmont, Colorado working to make Longmont a more sustainable, thriving City. We carry out our mission with three program areas: Renewable Energy, Zero Waste and Earth Day. Renewable Energy The Renewable Energy program achieved remarkable success in its first year. After launching in summer of 2017, the group’s efforts led to a commitment from Longmont City Council for a goal of 100% renewable energy by 2030. Now, this group is working with the community, City, State, and Platte River Power Authority to implement Longmont’s 100% renewable energy goal.
