The Director of Animal Protection is responsible for implementing and maintaining all McKamey Animal Center animal protection functions, ensuring compliance with all applicable municipal contracts while employing progressive community animal services approaches. Success in this position requires strong leadership and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, relationship-building with stakeholders throughout the community, and the ability to motivate employees to perform at their highest levels while placing a high priority on public safety and well-being.
