The Missouri Botanical Garden plays a leadership role in discovering and sharing knowledge about plants and their environment in order to preserve and enrich life. The mission of Shaw Nature Reserve (SNR) is to inspire stewardship of our environment through education, restoration and protection of natural habitats, and public enjoyment of the natural world. The Shaw Nature Reserve is widely known as an internationally renowned center for ecological restoration, native plant horticulture and nature-based education. The Director of Shaw Nature Reserve, in collaboration with the President, will be responsible for leading the vision and strategic development of Shaw Nature Reserve’s mission.
