Discovery Hall Programs (DHP) of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab has an opening for a marine science educator to work in a collaborative education and outreach group. This is a full-time, year round position with benefits. DHP educators develop and teach high quality on-site and off-site hands-on informal educational programs (field-based, in-class and distance learning)about marine and coastal issues to K-12 students, teachers and the general public during the school year and during the summer months. Off-site programs include overnight travel throughout the southeast as part of the BayMobile program as well as other outreach events.  Educators may also work on grant-funded projects, develop curricula, participate in professional development activities, develop web content/tools
