The Oyster Recovery Partnership (ORP) is hiring a part-time Fisheries Dockside Monitor to verify daily charter boat harvest occurring on the Chesapeake Bay. Verification supports an electronic harvest reporting program for Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay fisheries. Dockside monitors will be responsible for intercepting charter boat captains at the dock to verify the species and amount harvested during the offload process. Job Summary: Dockside monitors will be expected to work independently from home to conduct spot checks at charter boat landing locations during the 2022 charter season. Monitors must be available to participate in trainings to learn harvest documentation procedures. Dockside monitors will be provided tablet computers with software to schedule spot check
