Background: Ducks Unlimited Canada is one of Canada’s leading conservation organizations. We protect and restore wetland habitat for waterfowl, wildlife and people. We are fundraising-driven and base our actions on sound science and management. In our continuing research on the science and benefits of wetlands, we see potential in wetlands (and other forms of natural infrastructure) playing a key role in complementing traditional grey infrastructure for flood mitigation and providing other benefits for Ontario communities.
