Ducks Unlimited’s Great Plains Regional Office in Bismarck, ND seeks two waterfowl ecology technicians to assist with nest searching at the Ducks Unlimited Coteau Ranch and The Nature Conservancy’s Davis Ranch in Sheridan County, North Dakota during May - July of 2020. Major responsibilities will include waterfowl nest searching using an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) chain drag technique, nest monitoring using miniature surveillance cameras, and assisting in behavioral analysis using the collected video data. The successful applicants will also play a large role in guiding students who are working at the Coteau Ranch on field research projects related to the nest cameras.
