Here is a unique opportunity to train with a college and receive excellent on the job experience in Countryside Management. These temporary positions are for two years, with an Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship in Environmental Conservation gained after 18 months provided by Askham Bryan College – York. The positions will be based with Durham County Council Parks and Countryside Service and apprentices will gain a vast range of experience and knowledge working with site staff. You will be expected to take part in all activities currently carried out and this will involve being part of a shift rota, covering weekend and bank holiday working.
