An opportunity has arisen for a part time Environment Officer to support the development of the Fellfoot Forward Landscape Partnership Scheme in Cumbria, on behalf of the North Pennines AONB Partnership for a period of 18 months. It is envisaged that should further funding be secured, that the post holder’s contract be extended. The successful applicant will be expected:- To lead on elements of the Scheme relating to conservation of the natural environment, farming and land management, and to support work relating to heritage access and interpretation. To liaise with land managers and to supervise such contractors as may be appointed to develop specific projects within the officer’s main areas of responsibility.
