This exciting post was created following a successful award by the Heritage Lottery Fund as part of Ealing Council's Parks for People project to restore and develop the listed Walpole Park, the setting for the Grade 1 Pitzhanger Manor House. The funded project has improved the heritage value of the park and created an active volunteering and events programme that improves skills, knowledge, activity and well-being through community involvement and engagement.  The park is one of Ealing's best-loved parks with over one million visitors annually and hosts the Ealing Summer Festival every July.
