The Sustainable Development team are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate individual to lead on the development of policies and guidance to protect and enhance the East Riding’s unique natural environment. As Senior Sustainable Development Officer (Biodiversity) you will be expected to develop and deliver corporate policy and guidance to ensure that the council remains compliant with emerging environmental legislation. You will also work with communities, businesses and corporate and external partners to address key opportunities and threats related to the natural environment and biodiversity of the East Riding, including natural capital and invasive non-native species.
