Connect with nature Share your passion for forests Learn new skills The Ecoforestry Institute Society is looking for volunteer Nature Guides to lead outdoor education programs at Wildwood for students from K-12. Reporting to the Education Coordinator, volunteers are trained to lead engaging, BC curriculum-based programs, connecting students to nature and exploring a working forest. A minimum of 1 program/month is required. Training and professional development opportunities are provided. Programs run in the fall from September-November and in the spring from April-June. Wildwood is a 77-acre ecoforest nestled along the shores of Quennell Lake just north of Ladysmith, British Columbia. It lies within the traditional territories of the Stz’uminus and Snuneymuxw Coast Salish First Nat
