Established in 1984 as a nonprofit partner of the Chicago Park District, the Lincoln Park Conservancy's mission is to preserve, protect, and enhance Lincoln Park's art, architecture, and nature for all. We take on projects that benefit the park, the public, and the environment. We provide educational and engagement opportunities, including restoration, management, advocacy, and stewardship programs throughout Chicago's largest and most visited park. We currently co-manage the North Pond Nature Sanctuary and the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool, a National Historic Landmark designed by landscape architect Alfred Caldwell. These sister properties are located near Fullerton Parkway and Stockton Drive in Lincoln Park, Chicago.
