The Council is seeking to appoint an Ecologist on a temporary contract to support the delivery and management of ecological assessment and mitigation associated to Eden District Council Service Areas. This post will provide advice in the context of planning applications and processes and carry out Habitat Regulations Assessments. You will also provide technical advice internally and externally to the Council whilst ensuring consideration is given to the relevant National and International legislation and policies whilst incorporating opportunities for ecological / biodiversity enhancements.
