Hampshire County Council is seeking to recruit an experienced Ecologist to join our established Ecology Team. This is an opportunity to work with an experienced local authority ecology team operating collaboratively across the wider Environment department to support Highways and Property Services in delivering essential work across the County. You will organise and undertake Extended Phase 1 and protected species surveys, supervise colleagues, work closely with senior colleagues on more complex schemes, assist with on-site mitigation, and work with contractors on smaller-scale site work. You will also undertake office-based tasks including desk studies, map production, data analysis, providing feedback to clients, and writing reports.
