Ecology Officer – £33,336 – £36,036. We are looking for someone to join our multi-disciplinary Environment Team to actively contribute to the delivery of national and local conservation targets.
|You will be expected to provide expert ecology advice, guidance, and information to internal and external stakeholders on planning schemes and proposals as well as research, evaluate and prepare recommendation reports that contribute to the formation of local planning policy. In addition you will support and work with partner organisations including the voluntary sector to promote habitat conservation and healthy open spaces.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, who possesses excellent communication, customer focus, and time management skills. You must be able to manage your own workload, regularly reviewing and prioritising as necessary. The post holder will work with team leaders and managers to develop and promote services, and deliver projects that generate income, streamline processes, and generate efficiencies.
