Under the direction of the Senior Resource Ecologist, assists with the supervision and administration of the ecology section while also providing a high level of professional expertise and direction in all aspects of ecological data collection and analysis. The Ecology section monitors plants, animals, and natural communities of the District to make informed land management recommendations. The Ecology Research Supervisor is responsible for the compilation and analysis of ecological and land management data (such as rare plant trends, vegetation and bird monitoring data, success of seeding projects, etc.) to coordinate adaptive management and restoration actions.
