The NRE will be evaluated in accordance with the successful implementation of related
project activities.
Tasks and responsibilities
Identify one project site (Cap Samy or Petit Barbarons) for economic analysis, where
both ecosystem-based adaptation options (e.g. mangroves replanting) and engineering
options (e.g. culvert replacement to improve the hydrological flow and to link the
fragmented wetlands) are being practised for climate change adaptation.
Conduct a baseline and predictive assessment of hydrology and ecosystem services at
the selected site.
Develop a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) of the applied climate change adaptation
actions, over a period of 50 years, based on: i) the project’s actual costs of
implementation and the predicted continuous maintenance cost at a cho
