Reporting to the Manager, Partnerships & Education Resources, the Education Coordinator is primarily responsible for developing resources for Ocean Wise Youth’s new climate change education program, Waves of Change, that focuses on ocean and climate literacy among K-12 youth. The resources will include content from Ocean Wise’s Conservation work and draw clear links to a variety of daily actions and behaviors that lead to positive impacts on the ocean. These resources are intended to supplement Canadian and international school curriculum for K-12 while also drawing connections to global frameworks such as the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
