Washington Service Corps and AmeriCorps host site, Palouse Conservation District, are actively seeking an AmeriCorps member to serve as the Education and Restoration Technician with our Resource Conservation Department to deliver opportunities that promote riparian restoration and help implement conservation practices with local volunteer groups and students.

The three main goals of this position are to:

  • Improve water quality by achieving increased survival of riparian buffers;
  • Coordinate volunteer participation in watershed restoration projects;
  • Educate and raise community awareness on the importance of stewardship behaviors and conservation practices that influence water quality and the impacts of pollution.
