EMEC Ecology is a small and friendly consultancy with a wildlife-focused approach whose profits are donated annually to our parent organisation, the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. We are seeking two Placement Students to join us for one year, from October 2019 until September 2020. The role will involve a range of ecological surveys and related work ranging from supporting great crested newt and bat surveys to drafting reports. The role will offer hands on experience in a range of survey techniques for protected species and Phase-1 habitats, as well as knowledge and understanding of tendering, client liaison and report writing within a busy consultancy.   We are looking for students that are currently studying ecology or a related subject at universit
