We offer three potential PhD positions to South African/African graduates who are interested in applying for a four-year PhD scholarship from the DAAD. The planned starting date for the positions is June 2019 and each position is subject to approval of a specific funding programme offered by the DAAD. At the start of the PhD programme, a four-month training course in German language will be offered in Germany. The anticipated start of the PhD project would be October 2019. In addition, we will offer individually tailored training opportunities in methodological and transferrable skills, as well as regular meetings with other PhD candidates, and opportunities to present your research at international meetings and conferences.
