Purpose of the Position: The Endangered Wildlife Trust is one of the largest biodiversity conservation NGOs in southern Africa and is seeking to employ a Conservation Canine Project Coordinator in its Wildlife in Trade Programme. Illegal and/or unsustainable wildlife trade is one of the most significant global threats to biodiversity. Wildlife trade is escalating in southern Africa and the mission of the Wildlife in Trade Programme is to curb the impacts of illegal and/or unsustainable wildlife trade through targeted interventions along the trade chain. One such intervention is our Conservation Canine Project, which works to prevent and detect wildlife crimes.
