Do you want to make a difference protecting and restoring the abundance of the oceans? Oceana’s Legal Department is looking for an Environmental Advocacy Extern to work closely with the Senior Counsel and Staff Attorney. The Environmental Advocacy Extern position will provide the law student with first-hand opportunity to experience how in-house lawyers support the environmental advocacy needs of several campaigns in Oceana’s headquarters. You may be asked to support strategic litigation; analyze legislation; perform research on legal matters related to Oceana’s campaigns; or otherwise support the environmental advocacy work of Oceana. The position is based in Washington, D.C. We are seeking a law school student in their 2L or 3L year, who is pursuing a law degree (Juris Doctor (J.D
